Data protection

The protection and safety of personal data is of great importance for Indupro AG. We make every effort to guarantee maximum privacy and security. In the following, we inform you of what kind of data we collect and what this is used for:

1. Data logging

The web server automatically records log files of every visit to our pages; these cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data includes, for example, the browser type and version, the operating system used, referrer URL (the page visited before ours), IP address of the inquiring computer, access date and time of the server request and the client’s file request (file name and URL). This data is only collected for the purpose of statistical analyses. It is not forwarded to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

2. Use of personal data

Personal data is only collected or processed if it is provided voluntarily, e.g. during an inquiry. Provided there are no reasons related business purposes, you can revoke the previously granted authorisation to store your personal data at any time in writing (e.g. per e-mail or fax) with immediate effect. Your data will not be forwarded to third parties unless this is necessary on the basis of statutory regulations.

3. Information about, changes to and deletion of your data

In accordance with applicable law, you can ask us at any time in writing whether and which personal data we have saved about you. You will be sent a corresponding notice immediately.

4. Safety of your data

Your personal data that is made available to us is protected by all technical and organisational security procedures so that it cannot be accessed by unauthorised third parties. We recommend that very sensitive data or information be sent by post since complete data security cannot be guaranteed with an e-mail.

5. Note on payment by credit card

For card payments (direct debit/girocard/credit cards) we work with Concardis GmbH (Concardis), Helfmann Park 7, D-65760 Eschborn, represented by its managing directors Mark Freese, Jens Mahlke and Luca Zanotti. In this context, card data are transferred to the above company in addition to the purchase amount and date.

All payment data, as well as data on any chargebacks, are only stored for as long as necessary to process the payment (including processing of any chargebacks and collection of the receivable) and to combat fraud. Data are generally deleted no later than 13 months after collection. Data may be stored for longer if and for as long as necessary to comply with statutory regulations or to prosecute a concrete case of fraud. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 f) General Data Protection Regulation.

You can request information about your data, ask for it to be rectified or deleted and for processing to be restricted and/or you can withhold your consent to the processing of your data. If you have any questions about data processing by Concardis or to exercise your aforementioned rights, you can write to the data protection officer at the address provided above or by email to Datenschutzbeauftragter@concardis.com. 

Furthermore, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in Germany to the state data protection officer). You are advised that you have no statutory or contractual obligation to provide your payment data. If you do not wish to provide your payment data you can choose another payment method (e.g. cash).

6. Notes on Google Anal

This web site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help the web site analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the web site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the web site, compiling reports on web site activity for web site operators and providing other services relating to web site activity and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this web site. By using this web site, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

7. Cookies

We use so-called “session cookies” on some of our pages to facilitate your use of our web sites. These are small text files that are only placed on your hard drive for the duration of your visit to our web site and are deleted again when your browser is closed, depending on your browser settings. These cookies do no retrieve any personal information saved on your hard drive and have no effect on your PC or files. Most browsers are configured to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate cookies or configure your browser so that it reports when cookies are sent.

8. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this guideline on protecting your personal data from time to time. You should read this guideline occasionally to keep up to date on how we protect your data and constantly improve the content of our web site. If we carry out any major changes to the collection, use and/or forwarding of the personal data you place at our disposal we will notify you by posting notice of the changes in a clear and conspicuous manner on the web site.
